Dixie Terminal

When Atlanta's third Union Station opened in April 1930 at Forsyth Street, an air rights project was being proposed for the old Union Station site on Central Avenue. The Dixie Terminal (above), to be built at a cost of $3 million by the United States Warehouse Company, would have been one of the largest buildings in downtown if it had been constructed.
