Fayetteville

The 1902 Southern Railway depot at Fayetteville once served as city hall; it's now used for community activities. (Two blocks east of city square, at the water tower).

Fayetteville, a city of 13,000, is the county seat of Fayette County. The rail line through here was abandoned in the late 1930s.
