Hazlehurst Depot
Hazlehurst's depot still stands by the Norfolk Southern tracks in the center of town, where it is used by railroad crews. The county seat of Jeff Davis County in middle Georgia, Hazlehurst is a town of 3,775 people. It was named for George H. Hazlehurst, the civil engineer who surveyed the Macon & Brunswick Railroad through here.
