Mountain Park Depot Mountain Park, an unincorporated Gwinnett County community near Stone Mountain, has a railroad depot in the county park at 5050 Five Forks Trickum Road. The building originally stood in Shannon, on the former Southern Railway about eight miles northeast of Rome. The depot was cut in half and moved to Mountain Park sometime around 1976 and converted to a community center. Some background on the move is online at GwinnettForum.com.
