Shady Dale Depot Shady Dale's Central of Georgia depot was moved back from the tracks and rehabilitated before being expanded and converted into a restaurant. The top photo shows the building after expansion; the bottom photo shows it before. Shady Dale (population: 250) is in Jasper County, about eight miles northeast of Monticello.
