Stapleton Depot

Statham depot

The former Augusta Southern depot at Stapleton, built around 1885, is now a community center. It is located off Main Street and School Street at the east edge of downtown. No railroad tracks will be found in town because the ASRR was abandoned in 1934.

Stapleton is a town of 312 people in Jefferson County, about three miles west of Wrens.
