Talmo Depot The former Gainesville Midland depot at Talmo was recently moved away from the railroad and rehabilitated. The tracks nearby continue in use by CSX trains traveling between Gainesville and Athens. Talmo is a town of 515 in Jackson County, about ten miles southeast of Gainesville.
