Winterville Depot
Winterville's depot, built in the late 1800s, once served the Georgia Railroad. Renovated in 1982 and 2003, it's now used as a community center. The railroad was abandoned and removed in the 1980s.
A town of 1,063 people, Winterville is about six miles east of Athens. More info on the depot is online at the City of Winterville's web site.
