Georgia & Florida Railnet Georgia & Florida Railnet was a successor to the shortline Georgia & Florida Railroad. It operated several lines in south Georgia, primarily in the area between Albany and Valdosta. Among these were the former Seaboard Coast Line tracks from Albany to Thomasville and from Albany to Sylvester, former Georgia Northern from Albany to Moultrie and Sparks, former South Georgia from Adel to Perry, Florida, and former Georgia & Florida Railway from Willacoochee to Valdosta. In 2004, Georgia & Florida Railnet was sold to OmniTRAX. It now operates as Georgia & Florida Railway. (Note: It should not be confused with the Georgia & Florida Railway of 1906-1963).
