Georgia & Florida Railway (shortline) The shortline Georgia & Florida Railway operates several lines in south Georgia, primarily in the area between Albany and Valdosta. Among these are the former Seaboard Coast Line tracks from Albany to Thomasville and from Albany to Sylvester, former Georgia Northern from Albany to Moultrie and Sparks, former South Georgia from Adel to Perry, Florida, and former Georgia & Florida Railway from Willacoochee to Valdosta. Georgia & Florida Railway was known as Georgia & Florida Railnet before it was purchased in 2004 by OmniTRAX. Note: An earlier name used by the shortline in the 1990s was Georgia & Florida Railroad.
