Live Oak, Perry & Georgia Railroad

In 1995, the Live Oak, Perry & Georgia Railroad Company, Inc. (LOPG) filed a notice with the Interstate Commerce Commission to acquire and operate 83.5 miles of rail line of Norfolk Southern Railway Company and its subsidiary, Georgia Southern and Florida Railway Company. The line consists of 76 miles of track from Adel, Georgia, to Perry, Florida, and 6 miles from Perry to Foley, Florida.

On December 15, 1995, LOPG and the Georgia & Florida Railroad Company entered into a contract in which G&F agreed to handle all railroad operations for LOPG.
