Macon & Atlantic Railway


The Macon and Atlantic Railway was a planned railroad between Macon and Savannah. Its property was sold under foreclosure Nov. 30, 1892, after its builder, the Macon Construction Company, entered receivership. The Macon & Atlantic was subsequently reorganized as the Atlantic Short Line Railway.
