Nashville & Chattanooga Railroad, Civil 1863 map

The N&C is shown in the center of the map. Running west from Stevenson, Alabama, is the Memphis & Charleston. Running north from Dalton is the East Tennessee & Georgia, which also has a line between Cleveland and Chattanooga. Running south from Chattanooga is the Western & Atlantic. Kingston on the W&A is the eastern terminus of the Rome Railroad.
