Albany's Steam Locomotive

Georgia Northern No. 107, an ALCO 4-6-2 built in 1911, is being restored at Thronateeska Heritage Center, a historical complex centered around Albany’s former Union Depot. The engine also served Florida East Coast as its No. 88.

The photo above shows No. 107 before it was placed under a protective canopy. For a more recent photo, see the Transportation Annex page at the Thronateeska Heritage Center website.
