Southern Railway
1953 map, Griffin - McDonough

Southern's Griffin-McDonough line was constructed in 1886-87 as the Georgia Midland & Gulf connecting Columbus and McDonough.

Other railroads shown are the Atlanta-Macon line of the Central of Georgia and the Southern Railway line connecting those same two cities. (Both are now Norfolk Southern routes.)
