Grovania Depot

| The depot at Grovania stands vacant across the road from the tracks of the Georgia Southern & Florida Railroad (now part of Norfolk Southern). Like the Arabi depot further down the line to the south, it has a board-and-batten exterior and a wide overhang with simple support beams.
For a few years up until about 1920, Grovania had a second railroad, the Ocilla Southern. It was abandoned in that year and sold for salvage.

| The entire exterior, including trim, was repainted some time ago using a light-eating flat black paint, which makes it hard to get a good sunny-day photo. |

Beside the depot is the old Ellis Grocery.

| Grovania is a tiny crossroads community in southern Houston County, about ten miles south of Perry. |
