Hiltonia Depot The Savannah & Atlanta Railway in Hiltonia was abandoned in the early 1960s, but the old depot survived; it is used as the tiny community's town hall. The old freight room is now a garage. Next to the old depot is the town jail. Like many jails in Georgia it is a product of the Manly Jail Works of Dalton, Ga. Manly Jail Works continues in business today as Manly Steel. Hiltonia lies in northern Screven County about 70 miles northwest of Savannah. RailGa.com.
