Meansville Depot

| Meansville's former depot is now city hall. The community lost its railroad in 1977 when Southern Railway abandoned its line between Williamson (11 miles north) and Fort Valley. A nearly identical depot is in Fayetteville, about 35 miles north. Both buildings were on the same railroad line, built in 1887-88 as the Atlanta & Florida Railroad. |

Meansville (pop. 182) is in eastern Pike County about 60 miles south of Atlanta.
