Monticello Depot Monticello's Central of Georgia depot, built around 1901, is gone. It stood on Frobel Street about a quarter-mile northeast of the city square. The passenger end of the depot had an unusual amount of outside shelter from the elements. Monticello (pop. 2600) is the county seat of Jasper County in middle Georgia.   RailGa.com.
