Winterville Depot

| Winterville's depot, built in the late 1800s, once served the Georgia Railroad. Renovated in 1982 and 2003, it's now used as a community center. The railroad was abandoned and removed in the 1980s. |

A town of 1,127 people, Winterville is about six miles east of Athens.
