Yatesville Depot

| A train hasn't rolled past the Atlanta & Florida Railroad depot at Yatesville since 1977, when A&F successor Southern Railway abandoned the line through here. The tracks were laid in 1887-88 between Atlanta and Fort Valley, generally parallel to the Atlanta-Macon line of the Central of Georgia and over a route with no large or medium-sized towns. |
