Chattahoochee Bay RailroadFrom 2006 until 2015, the Chattahoochee Bay Railroad was a short line railroad operating between Hilton, Georgia, and Dothan, Alabama, on former Central of Georgia and Norfolk Southern tracks. It was a subsidiary of Genesee & Wyoming, which purchased its predecessor Chattahoochee & Gulf Railroad from Gulf & Ohio Railways in 2006. In 2015 G&W made the line a part of the Bay Line Railroad. At Hilton, the railroad connected with the Chattahoochee Industrial Railroad and the Hilton & Albany, both also operated by Genesee & Wyoming. Hilton is in Early County, about 11 miles southwest of Blakely.
