SAM Shortline
SAM Shortline excursion trains run from Cordele, on I-75 in south Georgia, to Americus and Plains. Pulled by Heart of Georgia Railroad (HOG) locomotives, the SAM runs on a line built by the Americus, Preston & Lumpkin Railroad and its successor Savannah, Americus & Montgomery Railway.
