Sparks Western Railway Sparks Western route near Ellenton in 2015. Chartered in 1908, the short-lived Sparks Western was in the process of constructing its line west from Sparks to Kingwood (about two miles east of Moultrie) when it was purchased in 1910 by the Georgia & Florida Railway.
